About

I am a former professor of practice and curator. I received my Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University. I've done a number of projects in gallery, print and  consumer good industries. My client work includes Creature LLC/ Crown Imports, Session Yoga, Twenty-Seven Sk8, and Calmness Collective.

 My fine art practice uses vintage cartoon and comic book imagery reconstructed into vignettes that are meant to delight in their ambiguity, hinting at the inappropriate violence of a Looney Tunes episode or the dark humor of 90’s Nickelodeon animation. While the work isn’t meant to be nostalgic, there is a sense of childhood lost as a result of the objects presented. This association affords a unique relationship in concept and content by combining the illustrative genre’s satire, history, and objects.

I currently work as a freelance artist focused on illustration and print design. My influences are similar to that of my fine art. I love tattoo flash, cartoons, graffiti, and skateboard design work.
